About Zia

Zia Clarke writes MM fantasy romance: men who start out certain of everything, worlds with rules worth breaking, and love stories that take their time.

The Brasshaven series began with a question: what happens to a world built on magic when someone invents a way around it? The answer turned out to involve an archivist who believes in order, a Tinkerer who believes in nothing he can’t build, and a great deal of arguing.

When not writing, Zia is probably reading someone else’s slow burn and making notes in the margins.
